LASN’s Adventure Club would like to invite you this fall on an EPIC adventure down the Lower Colorado River filled with canoeing, camping, hiking, challenges, games and more! This will be a retreat style weekend as we relax and enjoy the great outdoors while cruising down the slow moving Lower Colorado River. At times you will float, at times you will paddle. We will stop at sand bars to compete in games and make pit stops to hike. There’s a ton of fun packed into 3 whole days on this beautiful river!
The Trip will begin on Friday Morning so all Adventurers will be expected to reach our drop in point at some point on Thursday night. We will setup a caravan of vehicles leaving Los Angeles on Thursday for those interested. Exact time and location of pick-up/drop-off site will be announced as we get closer to the date. Come join one of the LASN Adventure Club’s most popular legacy trips!

Following breakfast, we will pack up the canoes and drop onto the river for a full day of canoeing, floating, exploring some of the local mines and river inlets. We’ll also enjoy fun and games on sandbars as we make our way down river.
We will camp for the night at Walters Camp on the Arizona side of the river. After setting up camp, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and fun around the campfire before settling in for the night.
We will begin our final day under the cover of darkness as we depart at 5am to enjoy the spectacular star-lit sky before an epic sunrise over the river. We’ll finish the morning with a 10 mile paddle & float and reach our take out point around 2pm.
We’ll enjoy a refreshing shower before enjoying a celebratory meal at Fisher’s Landing before departing for Los Angeles.
