The LASN Adventure Club has secured permits for one of the most sought-after bucket-list Adventure destinations in the world – HAVASU FALLS! We invite you to join us as we head into the lands of Havasupai for an experience you will NEVER forget!
The beautiful oasis of Havasu Falls lies 2500 feet below the rim of the Grand Canyon and is the crown jewel of the Havasupai Indian Reservation. The spectacular Havasupai waterfalls, sparkling blue-green pools and towering red cliffs are like nothing else in the world! This Adventure combines some of the most memorable canyon hiking with the culture of a Native American tribe that has occupied this area for centuries. The contrast of lush, riparian plants and trees and a vibrant turquoise stream against the backdrop of colorful canyon walls is a sight that must be seen to be believed. We will spend our days splashing through the water as we explore the canyon’s depths, swimming in crystal clear pools and discovering hidden secrets. In the evenings we’ll relax in our tranquil creekside campsite as we enjoy delicious meals. This is an experience you DO NOT want to miss!
This is a BACKPACKING adventure and will require a 20-mile hike (round trip). Each Adventurer will be required to carry their own personal gear as well as their share of group gear and equipment. The terrain is rated as moderately difficult and will take approximately 5-6 hours each direction. This is NOT a trip for beginners to backpacking.

NOTE: Travel TO & FROM the Hualapai Lodge is the responsibility of each individual Adventurer. Please plan to arrive by 6:00pm PT on Monday, August 12th.
NOTE: LASN will be providing Dinner on Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday ONLY. Adventures will be responsible for their own meals & snacks outside of this. LASN will provide meal recommendations on what to bring / pack.
NOTE: If the weather predicts any chance of rain on any activity day (Wednesday, Thursday or Friday), out of safety concerns, we will not do certain hikes. This decision will be made after considering the danger of all hiking options. Absolutely no refunds will be provided if weather forces a change in itinerary. Start the weather god chants to ensure this doesn’t happen!
Travel from Los Angeles (or wherever your journey begins) and meet your LASN Adventure Guides at the Hualapai Lodge in Peach Springs, AZ. We’ll enjoy dinner together at the Lodge before enjoying an evening of relaxation and hot tubbing before departing in the morning for Havasupai.
NOTE: Rooms are based on 4-person occupancy. LASN will do it’s best to place same-sex Adventurers in each room but that cannot be guaranteed.

We’ll depart early for the drive to Hualapai Hilltop and the jumping off point for our Adventure. The trail into the canyon drops 800 feet in the first 1.5 miles as we descend to the floor of Hualapai Canyon. From here, the red sandstone cliffs gradually grow higher and higher around us as the winding path takes us ever-deeper into the canyon’s depths. Eventually, the dry canyon gives way to a lush oasis as we reach the trail’s confluence with Havasu Creek. We’ll soon pass through the village of Supai, where the Havasupai Tribe has been living for centuries within the Grand Canyon. The final 2 miles offers the first glimpses of a number of dramatic waterfalls and turquoise pools. Upon arrival at the campground we’ll set up camp. After camp is set, we’ll spend the rest of the day relaxing by Havasu Falls.
Drive Time: 3 hours

Your Adventure guides will lead the group on an exciting hike to explore the three main Havasupai waterfalls; Havasu Falls, Mooney Falls and Beaver Falls, along with various side canyons and secret swimming holes. Please plan to spend the entire day away from camp. The lower canyon features a true wilderness feel with spectacular scenery and plenty of great places to stop for a swim. We’ll enjoy a picnic lunch along the banks of the turquoise waters before making our way back towards camp for an evening of relaxation along Havasu Creek.

After sleeping in and enjoying breakfast, we’ll head out and spend the day hiking and exploring Rock Falls and Fifty Foot Falls, which are less-visited but equally as stunning as Havasu and Mooney Falls, and make for unforgettable swimming and photography.
